The Wesley's to observe golden wedding anniversary

Paula Mae Hall, daughter of the late Edward and Daisy Hall, and Lowell Wesley, son of the late Elvin and Clara Wesley, all of the Beech Grove community, were united in marriage July 12, 1958.
They were married in Cynthiana, Ky., by the Rev. Herbert Godsey.
They made their home in Indianapolis, Ind., for 20 years before transferring to Memphis, Tenn., in 1978.
Lowell retired from Bemis Bag Company after 37-1/2 years prior to them moving back to Somerset.
Paula retired from her nursing home CNA job prior to Lowell’s retirement.
They have two children: Michelle Wesley, Somerset, and Monroe Wesley, Brentwood, Tenn.
Monroe’s marriage to Pamela Tate also added two step-grandchildren, Candice Tate and Landon Tate.
To honor the occasion of their 50th anniversary, the children will be hosting a celebration on July 20, 2008, at The Center for Rural Development from 2 until 4 p.m.
