The Harmons to celebrate 65th anniversary

Dr. Leonard and Kathryn (Epperson) Harmon of Somerset will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Saturday, September 27, 2008, with an open house from 2 until 4 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Somerset.

It will be a cake and punch reception in the church’s fellowship hall.

The Harmons were married in 1943 in Somerset while he was on a short leave from the U.S. Army.

Dr. Harmon is a retired Southern Baptist minister and school teacher.

Mrs. Harmon is a retired school teacher.

The couple has two daughters, Marlene Kinmon, Dry Ridge, Ky., and Reva Williams, Somerset.

They also have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

All family and friends are invited.

The couple requests no gifts, please.
