The Meeces to celebrate golden anniversary

Bernard and Margie Meece will be celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary November 15, 2008.

They were married on that date in 1958 at the White Lily Baptist Church by H.J. “Jack” Ridner.

Their marriage was blessed with three children: Jan Meece Long, Tammie Meece Bullock and Brent Meece. They have six beautiful grandchildren: Jonathan Ridner, Amanda Ridner, April Ridner, Aaron Ridner, Ashley Ridner and the most recent addition, Sabra Grace Meece.

They have also been blessed with a devoted daughter-in-law, Jill Meece, as well as sons-in-law, Bob Long and Ricky Bullock.

In celebration of God’s love for us all and the special love that our parents have shared for 50 years, we, their children, would like to extend a special invitation to our church, our community, our friends and family, to join us at the White Lily Fire Station on Saturday, November 15, 2008, between the hours of noon and 4 p.m. for an afternoon of fellowship.

Dad and Mom request that you bring no presents.

We would like for anyone who will to bring photos of the past to share.

If anyone has a special story or memory to share with us, we would appreciate that also.
