Samanatha and Michael were married November 17, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Union Church of Christ, Stilesville Road, with Bro. Bill Ponder, minister, officiating.

Samanatha is the daughter of Sam and Sherry Grigsby and granddaughter of Ellie Randolph and Elizabeth Mink.

Michael is the son of Mike and Lesa Aker; grandson of Audie and Helen Price and Irene Aker; and the great-grandson of Beatrice Price.

Union Church dates back to 1815. Michael and Samanatha’s wedding is the only formal wedding to be held at Union Church.

A reception was held at Dunbar Center, Somerset.

Michael and Samanatha spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
