Firefighters Tyler Crabtree, Zeke Reynolds, Phillip Rogers and Nathan Thayer, with the Somerset Fire Department, were sworn in during the Sept. 23 Somerset City Council meeting by Pulaski Circuit Court Judge David A. Tapp. The four were recently promoted from part-time to full-time, and they were honored in the ceremony before a number of friends and family and fellow firefighters. Doug Burns and David Volz, both lieutenants with SFD, were promoted to the rank of captain during the meeting as well.
