Kentucky State Senator Chris Girdler spoke about the efforts of Somerset-Pulaski County United, a group spearheading an effort to look into a merged city-county government and any benefits that may have, during Tuesday’s Pulaski County Fiscal Court meeting. Magistrates and Pulaski County Judge-executive Barty Bullock threw their support behind the possible study, but a decision on whether to help fund that study was tabled until the April 23 meeting because Magistrate Glenn Maxey wasn’t able to attend Tuesday’s meeting.
