Bill Ball surprised by 80th birthday party

— Bill Ball thought he and his wife, Emma Lee, were going to his nephew’s anniversary party when he was actually being tricked into attending his own 80th birthday party.
The party was held at Rocky Hollow and was put together by his wife and two daughters, June Crouch (and her husband Mike of Wexford, Pa.) and Julia Clow (and her husband David of Spring Lake, Mich.)
The girls were assisted by June and Mike’s children, Betsy and Tim, as well as other family and friends.
Everyone made a concerted effort to keep Bill from learning of the event and those efforts paid off in the look on Bill’s face when he realized that he had been had.
The party was attended by family and friends from several states and many members of the High Street Baptist Church were in attendance.
Everyone enjoyed surprising Bill and told stories of his many adventures.
The event was catered by The Lite Side in Somerset and the food and service were great.
