Happy 79th Birthday Betty Herrin

Our Neighbors

Vilda Jean Begley and Ernie Vaught, niece and nephew of Betty Vaught Herrin, hosted a surprise birthday dinner Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the home of Jack and Sue Vaught on Ky. 39.

Out-of-town guests helping Betty celebrate were Randy Herrin, Steve and Lesa Herrin, Hamilton, Ohio; Dolores Irvine, West Chester, Ohio; Larry and Gaye Irvine and Betty Irvine, Cincinnati; Chuck and Terri Irvine, Fairfield, Ohio; Amy Dailey, Aidan and McKenna, Batavia, Ohio; Ernest Evans and Michelle Wiseman, Lexington; Don and Linda Cash and Pat Whitaker, Lorida, Fla.; Crystal Vaught and Levi Constant, Richmond, Ky.; Kris Begley and Ashyton Humerickhous, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Stephaine Tucker, Anastasia and Jarel, Whitley City; Mary Lou Vaught, Danville; Charlie and Hunter Vaught, Harrodsburg.

Local guests were Josh Begley, Verna Mounce, John Phelps, Kara and Haven, Ellis Herrin, Bob Irvine, Denver and Lillian Hawk, Bobby and Aaron Hawk, Gary and Barb Cromer, Charlene Denney, Sandy Molen and Midge Rimer.

A dinner was prepared and served by Sue Vaught and Lillian Hawk.

After cake and ice cream, Ernie, Charlie and Hunter Vaught entertained guests with a display of fireworks.

Betty received many nice gifts and cards.
