Garland family welcomes second daughter

Somerset — Madison Garland, along with her parents, Randy and Amy Garland, Whitley City, would like to announce the birth and first birthday of her little sister, Kassidy Dean Garland.

Kassidy was born February 27, 2010, at 10:58 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds 5-3/4 ounces and was 21 inches long. Kassidy was delivered by Dr. Brian Priddle.

Her maternal grandparents are Barton and Debbi Adkins of Bronston. Maternal great-grandparents are William and Norma Adkins of Nancy and the late Brentie and Joyce Bray.

Her paternal grandparents are Rick and Ardenia Garland of Whitley City. Paternal great-grandparents are Lawrence and Frona Tucker of Whitley City and the late Hurstle and Minnie Garland.

She is welcomed and loved by a host of family and friends.
