Somerset Community Theatre’s production of Edgar Lee Master’s Spoon River Anthology will be performed in SCC’s Stoner Little Theatre on Friday and Saturday; November 22 and 23 at 8 p.m.. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 18th. They can be purchased at SCC’s box office in Stoner Hall for $4 each in advance. The Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 4:00pm. Admission is $6 per ticket at the door on the evening of the performance.
Spoon River Anthology offers an evening of performances and music set at the turn of the 20th century in a cemetery in Spoon River, Illinois. Former inhabitants of the small village return from their slumber to share their epitaphs. The production will feature musical performances by local folk duo LaMay and Reese as well as SCC’s Spoon River Ensemble.
Members of the cast include Greg Moore, Theresa Kibby, John Alexander, Jane Correll, Chris Harris, Misty Gibson, Nick Kidd, Katie Lowe, Mark Isham, Caitlyn Wheeler, Cheyenne Willis, Susan Elmore, Alyssa Burrows, Tonya Brown and Pam Bowman.
The production is directed by SCC director of theatre Steve Cleberg. Dana Floro serves as the stage manager and Tonya Marcum will run the lights and sound.
