Fire departments responded to a mobile home, located at 1449 Ringgold Road, which was ablaze in the early morning hours Sunday. According to Major Robert Mounce with the Somerset Fire/EMS Department, the departments were first called out to the rental residence owned by Wanda Carol at 10:29 p.m., where they stayed for an hour and 15 minutes. However, later the fire rekindled and fire departments were back on the scene for a little over two hours. The cause has not been determined and the investigation is continuing. Assisting at the scene was the Science Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Nancy Volunteer Fire Department, Dabney Volunteer Fire Department and Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
