Nina Stogsdill

Nina B. Stogsdill, daughter of the late Laurey Fountain and Mary Parlee Russell Phelps, was born at Eula, Ky., on June 16, 1916, and she departed this life on May 28, 2008, in Rockcastle County, Ky., having attained the age of 91 years.
She was united in marriage to Raymond Stogsdill. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Doyle (and Marilyn Bruner) Stogsdill of London, Ky., and Dale (and Rose Merrick) Stogsdill of Lexington, Ky.; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Phelps of Somerset, Ky.; and one nephew, Willard (and Doris) Phelps of Somerset.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gilmore, Kenneth and Earl Phelps, and one sister, Mima Phelps Clatterbaugh.
Nina was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Randall’s Chapel Cemetery.
