Margaret Louise Robinson, 89, of Somerset, Ky., passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 14, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Phillip and Rose Miller Yutze. She was the owner of the Lookout Cottages and a member of St. Mildred’s Catholic Church since 1961. She was very active in her church and the Pulaski County Democratic Women’s Club. She was a member of the Swinging Singles Dance Club and Senior Friends of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, and she volunteered for several years at the hospital.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by a son, William (and Mary) Abbott Jr. of Batavia, Ohio; a daughter, Margaret (and Eddie) McDaniel of Burnside, Ky.; three grandchildren, Dwayne Abbott, Michelle Kemp, and Amy Baum; and six great grandchildren, Danielle Abbott, Jason Kemp, Alisha Kemp, Michael Kemp, Aaron Kemp, and Kennedie Erby.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, William H. Abbott Sr.; her second husband, C.F. “Robbie” Robinson; and three sisters, Florence Fields, Ruth Bushman, and Rosemary Bennett.
Visitation for friends will be Monday, June 30, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Michael Ramler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the V.F.W.
