— Emery B. Brock, 89, of the Faubush community of Nancy, Ky., passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Mr. Brock was born in Trimble, Ky., on Sept. 21, 1919, to the late Lloyd Thomas and Helen Foster Brock. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Faubush Nazarene Church.
Mr. Brock is survived by a son, Lindell (and Linda) Brock, Faubush, Ky.; a daughter, Diana (and A.G.) Reese, Russell Springs, Ky.; three brothers, Linzie T. (and Iva) Brock and Herman W. Brock, both of Indianapolis, Ind., and Howard (and Reva) Brock, Somerset, Ky.; a sister, Evelyn Brock Burton, Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Jessica Brock, Renisa Rexroat, and Jason Rexroat; several great grandchilren; and a brother-in-law, Arlus (and Viola) Roberts, Faubush.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bulah Roberts Brock; a daughter, Wilma B. Brock; three sisters, Myrtle D. Brock, Virginia C. Brock, and Delma M. Brock; five brothers, James Brock, Arnold Brock, Boyd B. Brock, Harry Brock, and Harrison Brock; and eight half brothers and half sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m. in the Remembrance Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 W. Ky. 80, Somerset.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, in the Remembrance Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 3 p.m. with Bro. Murrell Crockett officiating.
Interment will follow in Norfleet Cemetery.
Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
