James Milton Hensley was born in Louellen, Ky. on April 6, 1946 and departed this life on October 1, 2008. James was the son of Ival Edna Varbel Hensley and Milton Ren Hensley both deceased.
James married Patricia E. O’Leary Hensley in Lafayette, Ind. on May 29, 1965.
James worked as a Tool and Die Maker and a Country Music Drummer. He has been disabled since 1995.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Juliana M. Hensley (and her fiancé Ken Myers), Deborah J. Hensley Russell (and her husband Chuck), and Brian J. Hensley (and his wife Christine); five grandchildren, Chad, John, Amber, James and Brandon Young; two step grandchildren, Brianne Riley and Nick Stoniolo; two great grand-children, Shemiah and Todd Young; two brothers, Delmar Hensley (and his wife Anita) and Curtis Hensley (and his wife Irene); and two sisters, Jackie Horn (and her husband Tom) and Dorothy Wynn.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Garnett Nelson and Barbara Jones; a half-sister Hester MacMurray; and one brother Clyde Hensley.
Pulaski Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
