Gov. Beshear’s deception

Readers Views

Commonwealth Journal

Dear Editor:

In regards to Governor Beshear’s town hall meeting, which was held at Somerset High School Monday night, which was to be informative about what’s being done by state government officials and to answer questions from the citizens of Kentucky.

While I appreciate many things that have been done, and that’s is still in the working toward being completed by our state government, but Gov. Steve Beshear has a deception about him that made the meeting disappointing.

Out of one side of Governor Beshear’s mouth came such statements as my grandpa and daddy preached at certain church and that he (Beshear) is a very religious person, who prays daily and that nobody believes in the 10 Commandments any more than he does!

Out of the other side of the governor’s mouth is his belief and support for abortion, the killing of the helpless and innocent.

What happened to his belief in Commandment No. 6, “Thou shalt not kill.”

He supports legalized casino gambling. What happened to his belief in Commandment No. 10, “Thou shalt not covet.”

He supported benefits for domestic partners. What happen to his religious belief, even though he refuses to answer directly or debate these three questions.

(He is an expert at not giving an answer to these questions that point to a guilty, unbiblical lifestyle of the governor.)

But the governor was booed big time when he said he would support and vote for Obama for he represented the future as president.

Well, what kind of future does Obama represent?

Obama said when he was elected president, all marriage amendments would be done away with, offering full support for homosexual lifestyles. And abortion would be available in every place for all women.

Well, birds of a feather flock together – or better does deceivers vote alike.

They sure do.

I like what the woman said loudly to Governor Beshear when he announced his support for Obama. She said and you say you pray, where does Pulaski County people stand on these issues. I fear too many on the wrong side.
