Gary Sherman, associate professor at Somerset Community College, told members of the Somerset Kiwanis Club about water monitoring done by the Upper Cumberland River Watershed Watch. The group is made up of about 200 volunteers who check water quality all over Kentucky. Sherman spoke to the club at its noon meeting March 20.
