Two men were arrested yesterday in connection with copper thefts which occurred last week at local businesses.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, David Brian Tomlison, 28, Camry Drive, Somerset, and Randall Steven Wright, 22, Route 5, Monticello, Ky., were arrested and charged in connection with the thefts.
Tomlison was charged with four counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300 after an investigation conducted by Detective Scott Trotter revealed Tomlison was involved in stealing radiators from heating and air units at Ronald Ping Rentals, Flynn Rentals, and Buyers’ Paradise, all located on South U.S. 27, and at the old Lake Cumberland Country Music building located on Heritage Drive.
Meanwhile, Wright was charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking over $300 after an investigation by Trotter revealed he was also involved in stealing radiators from heating and air units at the Heritage Drive location.
Both Wright and Tomlison were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Also, a Somerset man was arrested yesterday on a Pulaski District Court warrant of arrest, according to the sheriff’s department.
Steven Golden, 47, Lee’s Ford Spur, Somerset, was charged with obtaining controlled substances (narcotics) by knowingly misrepresenting and withholding information from a practitioner.
