A man was arrested Sunday after authorities responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Frank Denham Road and discovered the man possessed a counterfeit identification card.
According to the sheriff’s department, Alfonso Mendez, 26, of 376 North Frank Denham Road, Somerset, was arrested after sheriff’s deputies responding to the altercation discovered him to be intoxicated while he destroyed property at the residence.
A subsequent investigation by Deputy Steve Molen revealed the Hispanic male was at the residence uninvited, and that he had a forged United States Social Security card.
Mendez was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and criminal possession of a forged instrument (identity).
Mendez was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
