Sheriff’s Department makes two arrests

— The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department made a couple of arrests last week on probation violation and child support payment-related offenses.
Justin Roark, 20, 319 Jasper Street, Somerset, was arrested on a Pulaski Circuit Court bench warrant for probation violation. Roark’s original charge was theft by unlawful taking.
Roark was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
• Donald N. Depew Jr., 39, 649 North Limestone Street, Lexington, was returned to Pulaski County from Fayette County after he was apprehended by authorities there on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant on indictment.
Depew was charged with flagrant non-support. He was indicted by a Pulaski County grand jury after failing to pay child support as ordered by the court, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
Depew was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $21,276 cash only bond to be applied to child support arrearages.
