Two Eubank men are arrested in connection with copper thefts

Somerset — Two Eubank men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a reported copper wire and tubing theft at a residence on East Ky. 70 in Eubank.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy David Wesley responded to a report of copper wire and tubing being stolen from the residence on East Ky. 70 on Saturday, May 24.

The victim of the theft located his items at a local recycling dealer on Raleigh Road in Somerset on Tuesday, and authorities were waiting to arrest the suspects when they returned to the dealer on Wednesday with more items to sell.

The Eubank men, identified as Jesse R. Roberts, 20, of 175 County Line Road, Eubank, and Emmanuel J. Joseph, 23, of 205 County Line Road, Eubank, were arrested after Pulaski District Court warrants of arrest were issued.

Roberts and Joseph were both charged with receiving stolen property over $300.

Both men were lodged in the Pulaski County Deten-tion Center on a $5,000 bond.

The investigation into the theft along with other thefts in the area is being continued by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department Crim-inal Investigation Division.
