Eubank man arrested in connection with break-in

Local News

By CHRIS HARRIS, CJ Staff Writer
Commonwealth Journal

A pair of Eubank men were arrested Friday on charges relating to an area break-in earlier this month — on the very street both suspects resided.

Timothy Dick, 21, 90 County Line Road, and James O. Roberts, 51, 120 County Line Road were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking over $300, and theft by unlawful taking of a firearm.

The arrests were the result of an investigation into a residential burglary and theft at a County Line Road residence on or about May 18.

The probe by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigation Division revealed that the two men entered the residence by force and stole over $9,000 worth of household goods.

During the investigation, several of the stolen items were recovered by detectives.

Both men were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

The investigation into the incident is continuing by the Sheriff’s Department, with additional charges and arrests pending.

• A Burnside man was arrested Thursday for firing a gun which nearly injured two people located nearby.

Tracey L. Toney, 43, Lakeshore Drive, Burnside, was charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

An investigation revealed that on May 18, the suspect, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, engaged in conduct that created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury by firing a gun at two male victims. He missed both.

Toney was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $15,000 cash or property bond.
