The Indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty or otherwise pleads guilty.

Lincoln Barber, 43, 104 Calument Drive, Somerset, on or about Feb. 8, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense, by possessing morphine and Oxycodone, scheduled II controlled substances while in possession of a fire arm; possession of Legend drug, first offense, while in possession of a fire arm; possession of a controlled substance, second degree, first offense, by possessing Hydrocodone, a scheduled III controlled substance while in possession of a fire arm; and possession of drug paraphernalia, by possessing syringes-needles and other drug paraphernalia which is designed for the introduction of a controlled substance while in possession of a fire arm.

Joey Michael Judd, 28, 2834 Slevin St., Louisville, and Bradley Aaron Tandy, 28, 2334 Slevin St., Louisville, on or about March 22, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of theft by unlawful taking by taking property belonging to Blue Grass Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel and Cingular AT &T of a value over $300, and criminal mischief, first degree, by destroying, damaging property belonging to Blue Grass Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel and Cingular AT&T of a value over $1,000.

Derel Lee Griffin, 42, 615 Hinkle Road, Eubank, on or about Feb. 9, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of assault, first degree, by shooting Carl Richard Smittle causing serious physical injury and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, and wanton endangerment, first degree, by shooting a fire arm towards or in the direction-location of Anna McCoy, Shaun T. Crank, Leresa McCoy, Jean M. Cook, Michael J. Wilson, Crystal R. Crank, Jerri Smiley, S.M, Jessie J. Bingham, Kevin McFerron, Rita P. Hampton, Fredia Dollin, Samantha Baker, Teresa McCoy and Jeffery Doolin thereby wantonly engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life.

Kevin F. Beckman Jr., 24, Lookout Cottage Drive #5, Burnside, on or about Feb. 14 through Feb. 16, 2008, committed the offenses of criminal abuse, first degree, by intentionally abusing a minor under 12 years of age; and possession of drug paraphernalia, second offense, by possessing drug paraphernalia which is designed for the introduction of a controlled substance after having been convicted of at least one prior offense.

Cherish E. Grigsby, 25, The Light House Rescue Mission, 501 Old Richmond Road, London, on or about Feb. 14 through Feb. 16, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal abuse, first degree, by intentionally abusing and permitting Kevin F. Beckman to abuse a minor under 12 years of age, who was in her custody; and possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense.

Rebecca S. Sanders, 23, 601 East Market St., St. Elizabeth’s Shelter, New Albany, Ind., on or about Sept. 15, 2004, through Feb. 29, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of flagrant nonsupport by failing to provide for minor child-children in the amount of $5,707.59.

Jamie L. Combs, 35, 220 Rollin Green Acres, Somerset, on or about Nov. 28, 2007, committed the offenses of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check-instrument in the amount of $44.63 drawn on First and Farmers Bank of Somerset; on or about Nov. 30, 2007, criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing forged checks-instruments in the amount of $70.69 and $30 drawn on First and Farmers Bank of Somerset; and persistent felony offender, first degree, by being convicted of at least two prior felonies.

Shannon L. Lynn, 35, 133 South Central Ave., Somerset, on or about Nov. 23, 2007, committed the offenses of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check-instrument in the amount of $125 drawn on First and Farmers Bank of Somerset; and persistent felony offender, first degree, by being convicted of at least two prior felonies.

Robert W. Foster, 38, 8325 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, on or about March 10, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking by taking property belonging to Somerset Automotive Group of a value over $300.

Aaron Wade Gleason, 19, 611 Ader Holt Road, Bronston, on or about March 29, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of receiving stolen property by having in his possession property belonging to James New of a value over $300.

Michael Keith Ennis, 28, 285 Sycamore St., Somerset, on or about March 25, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal possession of a forged prescription, first offense, by possessing, attempting or passing a forged prescription for a scheduled controlled substance at Wal-Green Pharmacy of Somerset.

Jordan L. Mayfield, 21, 20901 Old Hwy. 90, Loop No. 2, Bronston, on or about Oct. 22, 2007, committed the offenses of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check-instrument in the amount of $63.77 drawn on Somerset National Bank of Somerset; on or about Oct. 23, 2007, criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged checks-instruments in the amounts of $66.42, $69.34 and $59.34 drawn on Somerset National Bank of Somerset; on or about Oct. 26, 2007, criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing forged checks-instruments in the amounts of $73.98, $68.94 and $118.68 drawn on Somerset National Bank; on or about Oct. 27, 2007, criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing forged checks-instruments in the amounts of $95, $80, $65, $69.34, $85, $80, $89.01, $91.96 and $77.88 drawn on Somerset National Bank; on or about Nov. 9, 2007, criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing forged check-instrument in the amount of $340.45 drawn on Somerset National Bank; and on or about Oct. 22, 2007, through Nov. 9, 2007, persistent felony offender, second degree, by being convicted of at least one prior felony.

Jason L. Gatchel, 28, 581 Jeru Knob Road, Burnside, on or about Jan. 29, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal possession of forged instrument, first degree, by possessing and passing a forged-counterfeit American Express Cheque in the amount of $300 drawn on American Express Travel Services Co., New York, N.Y.

Steven T. Miller, 25, 492 Woodland Trails, Somerset, on or about Nov. 2, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense, by possessing Oxycodone, a scheduled II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia by possessing rolling papers which is designed for introducing a controlled substance.

Holly Lynette Alexander, 20, 1263 North Ky. 1247, Somerset, on or about July 1, 2007, through Oct. 19, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking by taking property belonging to KMart of Somerset of a value over $300.

Rodney Lane Cook, 48, 593 Monticello Road, Lancaster, S.C., on or about Oct. 15, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense, by possessing methamphetamine, a scheduled II controlled substance; and operating motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.

Stephanie Harrison, 21, Somerset, on or about Aug. 8, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of receiving stolen property, by having in her possession property belonging to Kyle Dowell of a value over $300.

Jerry L. Bragg, 57, Pulaski County Detention Center, Somerset, on or about Feb. 1, 1999, through Feb. 28, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of flagrant nonsupport by failing to provide for minor child-children in the amount of $21,592.30.

Steve M. Sapp, 55, 185 East Maxwell St., Lexington, on or about Nov. 1, 1986, through Nov. 30, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of flagrant nonsupport by failing to provide for minor child-children in the amount of $14,360.

Cecil D. Sellers, 43, 200 South Grandview, Burnside, on or about June 21, 1999, through Dec. 3, 2001, in Pulaski County committed the offense of flagrant nonsupport by failing to provide for minor child-children in the amount of $3,312.66.

Krystal G. Ashley, 30, 10490 North U.S. 27, Eubank, on or about July 13, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal possession of a forged prescription, first offense, by knowingly possessing and passing two prescriptions for Ritalin, a controlled substance, at College Drugs, Somerset.

David Starks, 45, 501 Somerset Village, Somerset, on or about Feb. 4, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of burglary, second degree, by unlawfully entering or remaining unlawfully in a dwelling belonging to Michael Todd with the intent to commit a crime, and theft by unlawful taking by taking property belonging to Todd of a value under $300.

Bobby Coomer, 31, 2737 Hwy. 837, Nancy, on or about Jan. 31, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, by possessing Oxycodone, a scheduled II controlled substance.

Oatha Scott Coomer, 27, 7026 West Ky. 80, Nancy, on or about Jan. 31, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, by possessing Oxycodone, a scheduled II controlled substance.

Walter Travis Silvers, 25, 256 Prewitts Way, Somerset; Larry R. Phillippi, 24, 343 Grove St., Somerset; and Ashley N. Steele-Kinley, 400 Waddle St., Ferguson, on or about April 15, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check-instrument in the amount of $450 drawn on Citizens National Bank of Somerset.

Walter Travis Silvers, 25, 256 Prewitts Way, Somerset; Larry R. Phillippi, 24, 343 Grove St., Somerset; and Ashley N. Steele-Kinley, 400 Waddle St., Ferguson, on or about April 15, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offense of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check-instrument in the amount of $450 drawn on Citizens National Bank of Somerset.

Antonio Maurice Hill, 30, 370 Grand Central Blvd., Apt. 8, Somerset, on or about March 27, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of receiving stolen property by having in his possession property (fire arm) belonging to Hurdy A. Seawright and knowing it to have been stolen; and possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon, by being in possession of a hand gun after having been convicted of a felony.

Angela E. Taylor, 26, 47 Driftwood Circle, Apt. #1, Somerset, on or about Aug. 6, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud, first offense, by obtaining or attempting to obtain Hydrocodone, a scheduled III controlled substance by a phoned in fraud prescription at College Drugs of Somerset.

Paula C. Thorne, 29, 33 Driftwood Circle, Apt. #1, Somerset, on or about Aug. 6, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of complicity to attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud, by counseling, promoting, planning or aiding Angela E. Taylor in obtaining a controlled substance at College Drugs.

Derrick S. McLin, 29, 3012 North U.S. 27, Lot #3, Somerset, on or about Nov. 17, 2007, in Pulaski County committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance, second degree, first offense, by knowingly and unlawfully possessing Hydrocodone, a scheduled III controlled substance with the intent to distribute or transfer.
