Police looking for suspects in rash of thefts in Pulaski

Crimes include theft from vehicles, break-ins

By HEATHER PYLES, CJ Staff Writer

Authorities are searching for several persons of interest in connection with a rash of thefts from vehicles in Pulaski County.

On Monday, June 8, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was notified of several thefts from vehicles located in the Eagles Nest, Creekside and Brighton Lane areas off Ky. 39 north of Somerset.

Law enforcement officers were called out again on Wednesday to investigate additional vehicle break-ins in the Science Hill and Bronston areas. Investigators are looking into the possibility that the thefts committed those two nights are all connected.

More than 10 vehicles were broken into during the rash of thefts, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.

Three suspects have been targeted after video surveillance from Somerset area convenience stores showed those people using stolen credit cards connected to some of the thefts.

The suspects appear to be two white males and one white female driving a dark colored newer model mid-sized four door pickup truck. The exact model of the truck is not known.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information about the suspects are asked to contact the sheriff’s department at (606) 678-5145. Callers may remain anonymous.
