Kids gathered underneath a large bucket Wednesday in preparation for a flood of water that came every 30 seconds or so once that container filled up. Management at SomerSplash water park said the park has stayed busy thanks to the heat and humidity that has the southern United States in its grip. The summer may have only officially started Sunday, but the humidity and heat have soared in the past few days — giving the impression that it’s the end of July, not June.
