Six people were arrested last week after law enforcement officers investigated reports of a possible methamphetamine laboratory in eastern Pulaski County.
Authorities responded to a report of a possible meth lab on Sulpher Springs Hollow Road on Friday. Upon arriving, officers reportedly encountered three people who were “attempting to leave the residence from the rear.”
During the investigation, several items were allegedly discovered at the residence “which are utilized in the manufacture of methamphetamine,” which prompted a response to the scene by other law enforcement officers.
Lithium batteries, Coleman fuel, salt, crushed pseudophedrine pills, tubing, liquid fire, an HCL generator and ammonium nitrate were reportedly discovered.
The following individuals were arrested at the scene:
• Jeffrey Knuckles, 41, of Beck Street, Somerset
• Robin R. Bingham, 31, of Tanglewood Drive, Burnside
• Shane D. Loglott, 25, of Sulpher Springs Hollow Road, Somerset
• Jamie D. Cordell, 26, of Brandon Street, Ferguson
• James P. Meece, 29, of Sulpher Springs Hollow Road, Somerset
• Jeffrey A. Poole, 42, of Ben Nelson Road, Eubank
All six individuals were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
