Three people were arrested Sunday after the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation into illegal drug activity at a Murphy Street residence.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was issued for a residence at 138 Murphy Avenue during an investigation undertaken by Deputy James Layne and Detective Rodney Stevens.
Several drugs were seized from the residence during the search, including methamphetamine, valium, hydrocodone and marijuana.
Numerous items connected with the sale of illegal drugs were also discovered, including weighing scales, baggies, pipes, snorting pipes and money. Authorities also confiscated two loaded firearms.
According to the sheriff’s department, Jennifer L. Vance, 23, of 205 Fairground Street, Columbia, Ky. was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Seayara Wilson, 19, of 138 Murphy Avenue, Somerset, was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Luther R. Rose, 29, of 138 Murphy Avenue, Somerset was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
Vance, Wilson and Rose were all lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
