Bronston woman hurt in wreck

A Bronston woman was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after her vehicle struck a utility pole yesterday morning.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, the one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. approximately five miles south of Somerset on Slate Branch Road. Upon investigation at the scene they found Alicia Bray, 25, Newell Avenue, Bronston, was operating a 1995 Mazda westbound on Slate Branch Road when she lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway striking a utility pole.

Bray was treated at the emergency room, but not admitted, according to a LCRH spokesperson.
