Donna Cross awoke Friday morning to find her gelding, Dreamer, with a new companion. The young deer, which seemed to appear out of nowhere, would barely leave his adopted father’s side throughout the day. Cross, who owns a farm off North Ky. 1247, said she doesn’t know what she’ll do with the deer, but she’s hoping to get in contact with an animal rescue group to help it find a new home.
