Pedestrian Injured

Somerset —

EMTs assist Mary Mauney, 69, of Somerset, Tuesday after she was struck by a vehicle driven by Kevin Woodall, 57, of Somerset. Woodall was stopped and waiting to turn right onto Main Street when Mauney crossed on the pedestrian crosswalk in front of his vehicle. Woodall told Somerset Police he did not see Mauney as he drove forward, striking her. The victim was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for injuries to her legs, according to SPD.
