Injury accident on North U.S. 27

Somerset —

Two people were taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Wednesday after a two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of North U.S. 27 and McKee Street. A 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van, operated by Margaret Spradlin, 35, of Somerset, was crossing U.S. 27 eastbound from McKee Street when it collided with a southbound 2005 Honda Civic driven by Jacky White, 77, of Science Hill. A passenger in the Spradlin vehicle, Isaiah Spradlin, 4, was taken by EMS to LCRH. White was taken to LCRH in a private vehicle.
