Lincoln couple arrested in child abuse case

A Lincoln County couple was arrested this week on several child abuse charges. 
According to information provided by Trooper Paul Blanton, public affairs officer with the Kentucky State Police Richmond Post, Timothy Robinson, 34, and Rhonda J. Robinson, 47, of the Kings Mountain community, were arrested Tuesday on several sexual abuse charges.
Timothy Robinson was charged with four counts of incest, four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, and use of a minor in a sexual performance.
Rhonda Robinson was charged with four counts of complicity to incest, four counts of complicity to unlawful transaction with a minor, and complicity to use of a minor is a sexual performance. 
Those charges stem from a Lincoln County Grand Jury indictment.
Blanton said the victim is a 14-year-old female, and he said additional charges in the case are expected. 
Timothy Robinson was lodged in the Lincoln Regional Jail on a $200,000 cash bond. 
Rhonda Robinson was lodged on a $100,000 cash bond in the Lincoln Regional Jail. 
Timothy and Rhonda Robinson are scheduled to appear in Lincoln Circuit Court Nov. 9 for an arraignment. 
KSP Detective Rodney Wren is the investigating officer in the case.
