Two people airlifted from crash on Ky. 39 at Pulaski-Lincoln line

Two Eubank residents were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center following a two-car crash late yesterday afternoon in front of the S & M Grocery on Ky. 39.
Sgt. Troy McLin of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said John C. McCoy, 27, pulled out of the S & M Grocery Store parking lot, in a 2002 Pontiac, into the path of a southbound 2004 Ford Taurus, which was operated by Pam Dyer, 51.
McCoy was ejected from the vehicle. He was treated by Pulaski EMS units and then airlifted from the scene to the UK Medical Center.
Dyer was treated at the scene and transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital by Pulaski EMS units. She was then airlifted from LCRH to the UK Medical Center.
At press time, the conditions for McCoy and Dyer were not available.
The accident occurred about 17 miles north of Somerset at the Pulaski-Lincoln county line.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department.
