• In Lake Cumberland’s second game of the tourney, South Lexington overcame an early four-run deficit, a four RBI performance by Chandler Purcell, and three Lake Cumberland home runs to rally four five runs in the fifth and a 10-9 win. Purcell and Zach Profitt had seven hits between them, but a six error performance by the defense helped short circuit Lake Cumberland’s drive into the winners’ bracket semi-finals.
