Lady Warriors’ Dynamic Duo
The dynamic duo.
A one-two punch.
A winning combination.
Whatever you want to call them, the pair of Destiny Molden and Sydney ‘Dozer’ Fourman have been nothing short of spectacular for the Southwestern High School softball team over the past few years.

‘Magical Season’ ends
For the past couple of weeks, things had gone the way Southwestern wanted them to.

Dishman signs with Lindsey Wilson
Charlie Dishman has done it all for the Somerset High School baseball team for the past three seasons.

After last year’s 13-3 loss to Mercer County in the 12th Region Baseball Championship game, Southwestern made it a priority to make a trip back to the title game in 2014.

Southwestern wins Region
In a baseball cross-town rivalry showdown between Somerset High School and Southwestern High School, the 12th Region Championship title was on the line on Thursday night as West Jessamine High School.
After eliminating the host school West Jessamine High School (5-2) in a rain delay continuation of the regional semifinal game one hour prior to their regional championship showdown with the Briar Jumpers, Southwestern came away with the 12th Region Tournament trophy after downing Somerset 5-3.
Somerset advances to 12th Region Finals
Over the course of the past four seasons, Somerset's senior class had not yet tasted victory over long-time rival Danville. In fact, the Jumpers hadn’t won a game against Paul Morse and company since the 2009 season.
That all changed on Tuesday night at West Jessamine, as the Briar Jumpers scored two late runs to come away with a hard-fought, 6-5 win over the Danville Admirals.
