A second person was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the recent break-ins at Sandidge Store and Eubank Church of Christ in Eubank.

Kristi Kay Caudill, 36, 343 Whitaker Road, Eubank, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $300, according to the Eubank Police Department.

Both Sandidge’s Store, located at the intersection of Ky. 1247 and West Ky. 70 in Eubank, and Eubank Church of Christ were both broke in on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 28.

Caudill was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center with $5,000 unsecured third party bond. She bonded out the same night.

Also, charged in the incident was Anthony Wayne Calder, 42, Somerset. He was charged with third-degree burglary under $300 and second-degree criminal mischief. He was also charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree arson and theft by unlawful taking over $300 for what occurred at Sandidge’s store.

The store was a landmark in northern Pulaski County, having been a fixture in Eubank, not far away from the Lincoln County line, for over 55 years. The store was set ablaze after the robbery.
