Pedestrian struck downtown

Somerset —

A 15-year-old girl was injured when she was struck by a vehicle on East Mt. Vernon Street in downtown Somerset Wednesday afternoon. Brynlee Bigelow, shown at left, of Som-erset, was crossing the street in front of Food Fair near the inter-section with College Street when she ran into the path of a westbound 2000 Dodge Durango driven by Tina Justice, 32, of Ferguson, according to  SPD Capt. Shannon Smith. Capt. Smith said Bigelow suffered a minor injury to her leg. EMS and Somerset Fire Department also responded.
