Fatal accident snares traffic on Ky. 461

Somerset — Traffic was expected to be re-routed for several hours Friday evening after a man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Ky. 461, about 3 miles from the Ky. 80 intersection.

Apparently, the driver of a passenger car swerved into the path of a tractor-trailer, resulting in a head-on collision. The truck then veered off the road and hit a rock wall.

The driver of the passenger car was dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional. Neither man has been identified.

More details to follow in the Commonwealth Journal.
