Work camp walk-off & wife arrested here

Tateville —

Authorities in Pulaski County on Wednesday arrested an escaped prisoner who had allegedly fled from a southern Kentucky minimum security work camp.
Joshua Aaron Woodall, 29, was reported missing from the Bell County Forestry Camp at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Officials from the camp contacted the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and told them of Woodall’s alleged escape.
Woodall was serving prison time for receiving stolen property, third degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking or disposition, which originated in Pulaski County.  Woodall, a Somerset native, was thought to likely be in the Pulaski County area.
Investigators soon learned that Joshua Woodall had reconnected with his wife, Adrienne Eggers Woodall, in Somerset, according to Lt. Det. Brett Whitaker with the sheriff’s department. They learned the two were also likely in a maroon Chevrolet Malibu.
“Detectives and patrol units with the sheriff’s office and officials from the forestry camp set up surveillance at areas in Pulaski County they believed Woodall may visit,” stated Whitaker in a press release.
Investigators soon came across the Malibu on South U.S. 27 in Tateville.
Joshua Woodall was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
Investigators also allegedly came across 23 Oxycodone pills and $70 in cash in the vehicle.
Joshua Woodall was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was transported back to Bell County, where he will face escape charges.
Adrienne Woodall, 25, of Somerset, was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Additional charges may be filed against Adrienne Woodall, according to Whitaker.
