Three people charged after heroin found at home

Somerset —

Three people were arrested after investigators allegedly found more than $1,000 in heroin at a Somerset home.
Detectives with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Division were called to a home at 115 Hillcrest Drive in Somerset after alleged drug activity was reported at the residence.
The detectives “conducted surveillance on (the home) after having received numerous complaints on the residence,” stated Lt. Det. Brett Whitaker in a press release.
After the surveillance, detectives spoke to resident of the home, Dallas A. Perkins, 42. Perkins gave investigators permission to search his property, according to Whitaker.
During the search detectives allegedly located and confiscated 38 bindles of heroin, which are small packets of the drug. Whitaker said the heroin was valued at around $1,300. Detectives also allegedly found and confiscated more than 60 Methadone tablets, a handgun, and $300 in cash.
Perkins was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, enhanced with a firearm, which is a Class B felony.
Two females were also arrested.
Julia Michelle Foster, 35, of Georges Drive, Somerset, and Kelsea Sage Dills, 26, of Grundy Road, were arrested and charged with first-degree complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance.
All three suspects were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing.
