Somerset —

For the fourth time in the past five seasons, the Pulaski County Maroons will be vying for a regional championship.
Last night at PC Field, a muddy track as well as a superior Maroon team sank the visiting Perry County Central Commodores by a final tally of 43-0.
Aaron Smith scored on TD runs of 16, 10, and 49 yards respectively, while freshman Jake Johnson became Pulaski’s all-time career receptions holder for a single season, helping PC roll to an impressive 43-0 victory over the Comm-odores.
Johnson scored on a 17-yard scoring toss from quarterback Riley Hall, while the talented freshman also returned a punt 51 yards for another score.
Pulaski broke open a close, 9-0 game at halftime by rolling up 28 points in a decisive third quarter to move to 12-0 on the year.
Besides his three TD runs, Smith also added a safety on defense, helping the Maroons totally dominate the Commodores.
With the win, Johnny Hines’ club moved to 12-0 on the season and will host Madison Southern next week for the regional title game at PC Field.
That game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. next Friday night.
