Mary Jarboe

Mary Christina Jarboe, 51, of Somerset, Ky., departed this life on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Jack Mayer and Ethel Goshorn. She was a loving mother and faithful to her church and religion. She loved to garden and fish.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Vincent Jarboe and Timothy Austin (and Katrina) Mayer, both of Somerset; two daughters, Kerry Melissa Jarboe of Vevay, Ind., and Julianna Marie Anderson of Somerset; a brother, Jack Mayer, of Cincinnati; two sisters, Nancy Hogue of Cincinnati and Eileen (and Tom) Trapp of Denver, Colo.; and a grandchild, Kyren Xzaiver Charles Anderson.

Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Erlene Mayer.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 3, at 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Father Mike Ramler officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday after 6 p.m. until time for services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all expressions of sympathy be made to the Mary Christina Jarboe Memorial Fund, c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy. 80, Somerset, Ky., 42503.
