Harold Farmer

Harold R. Farmer, 80, of the Mt. Victory community, Ky., departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1928, in Mt. Victory, to the late William Arthur and Elsie Phelps Farmer. He was a retired sawmill foreman for the Feldman Lumber Company. He loved visiting family and friends and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Alsip Farmer, whom he married on March 3, 1966, in the White Lily community, Ky.; a son, Michael (and Marta) Farmer of Somerset, Ky.; a brother, Tommy Farmer of Mt. Victory; a sister, Joyce (and Delno) Bradley of Mt. Victory; and a grandchild, Jared Michael Farmer.
Preceding him death were his parents, William Arthur and Elsie Phelps Farmer, and a brother, Hershel Farmer.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 5, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Keene officiating.
Burial will in the Providence Cemetery at Mt. Victory.
Visitation will be today, May 4, after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
