Ruby Tucker

Ruby Tucker, daughter of the late Raymond and Emmily Maggard Hill, was born in Harland, Ky. on July 17, 1934 and departed this life on June 20, 2008 at Burnside, Ky., having attained the age of 73 years.

She is survived by five daughters, Sherry Tucker Anderson, Cindy (and Hugh) Corder, Deloris (and James “Jim”) Bolin and Teresa (and Bob) Matthews, all of Pulaski County, and Linda (and Larry) Gregory, of Oneida Tenn.; three sons, Ronald Tucker and Phillip (and Dorothy) Tucker, both of McCreary County, and Louis (and Lori) Tucker, of Pulaski County; two sisters; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was united in marriage to Noah Tucker. He preceded her in death. Ruby was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Day Ridge Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sexton officiating, and burial will follow in the Strunk-Yancy Cemetery.

The family of Ruby Tucker will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008.
