Linda Lee Langford, 63, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center - St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky..
She was born on September 29, 1946 in Quincy, Ill., to the late Evelyn G. Wright. She loved to read, bird watching and serving her church. Mrs. Langford was a seamstress at Palm Beach and is a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church no. 2.
Mrs. Langford is survived by two sons, David (and Kimberly) Langford of Frankfort, Ky., and Curtis Langford of Leitchfield, Ky.; a daughter, Debra (and James) Graves of Portland, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Casie Swain, Jamie Graves, Kala Graves, Terry Graves, and Alex Graves; five great grandchildren, Zach Swain, Austin Tankersley, Kailey Draper, Caden Graves, Clayden Graves and best friend Linda Hensley, Somerset, Ky.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Edwin Cecil Langford, whom she married on February 6, 1965 in Hardinsburg, Ky. and who passed away on May 24, 2007; and two brothers, Ricky and Randy.
Visitation for Mrs. Langford will be at 11 a.m. today at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 W. Ky. 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Sutton officiating. Burial will be in the Goodwater Cemetery.
