Bobby Meece

— Bobby Meece, son of the late Lloyd and Opal M. Ping Meece, was born at Ano, Ky., on May 5, 1943, and he departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2009, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, having attained the age of 66 years.
He was united in marriage to Joyce Clark Meece. She survives. Other survivors include one brother, Kenneth Meece; and four sisters, Alma Dean Leugers, Shirley Castro, Linda Sue Conner, and Melissa McClure. He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edmond Gail Meece and Granville D. Meece, and one sister, Delores E. Meece.
Bobby was employed by the Kentucky Tech. Vocational School for 27 years until he retired. He and his wife have also worked at the Pulaski Funeral Home for many years since in a cleaning capacity. Bobby was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and he leaves a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 29, at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating.
Burial will follow in the Acorn Cemetery at Ano.
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 4:30 until 7 p.m. today, June 28.
