— Gerald Dempsy Davis, age 79 of Somerset passed away Wednesday, July 08, 2009 at The Neighborhood Nursing Facility.
Mr. Davis was born in Keno, Ky. on Dec. 17, 1929 to the late Archie and Wagie Alsip Davis. He married June Morrow on Dec. 20, 1951. Mr. Davis was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant and also a retired Civil Service employee.
Mr. Davis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, June Morrow Davis and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Albert, and Leroy Davis; and two sisters, Susie Mae Taylor and Revena Boyd.
Visitation for Gerald Dempsy Davis will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 W Hwy 80, Somerset, Ky. with funeral services also to be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery at Keno, Ky.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements of Gerald Dempsy Davis.
