Lola Glass

Lola Glass, 87, Crab Orchard, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford.
Born Sunday, July 17, 1921, in Pulaski County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late William A. & Jane Deliah Simpson Blanton. She was a homemaker, member of the Woodstock Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Glass, Crab Orchard; four sons, Bradley (and Hattie) Glass, Heyworth, Ill., Winston Glass, Washington, Ill., Dannis (and Bess) Glass, Bloomington, Ill., and Bobby (and Shari) Glass, Heyworth, Ill.; and a daughter, Beverly (and Duane) Miller, Bloomington, Ill. Other survivors include 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Lola was preceded in death by two sons, Freddie and Randy Glass; a daughter; Dottie Stull; and by all of her brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m., today at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Briary Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday evening at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
