She was born at home in Eubank on July 14, 1924, daughter of the late Everett C. and Roberta Estes Surber. She had one brother, Everett Surber Jr. They have preceded her in death.
She was married to Fred Alvin Bishop on July 13, 1943. This was a true and divine love story that sadly came to a close upon his passing on Feb. 19, 1993.
