Lois Elizabeth “Jack” Leese, daughter of the late Lafayette and Sallie Ann Bryant Neeley, was born in Somerset, Ky., on July 3, 1930, and she departed this life on Aug. 25, 2008, having attained the age of 78 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Leese on Feb. 10, 1949. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Kevin (and Tammie) Leese of Somerset; one daughter, Peggy Leese of Somerset; one sister, Stella Faye Neeley Harrison of Somerset; and two grandchildren, Amy (and Lee) Birchfield of Dallas, Texas, and Ashley (and Charlie) Ball of Science Hill, Ky.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Curtis and Claude Neeley.
Earlier in life, Mrs. Leese worked at the Goodall Company, which later became known as Palm Beach. She ceased employment there when she married Henry. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she was a very active attendee of West Somerset Baptist Church. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Aug. 27 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Butte officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
